Hohner presents a new range of products in its portfolio, these are brushless DC motors. They have hollow-shaft design to route cables, pipes and drive shafts.

  • Excellent regulation at ultra-low speeds up to 0,008°/s
  • High torque with a gear ratio of 1:900
  • High precision control by two 19 bits absolute muliturn encoders

  • Backlash-free by an harmonic gearbox
  • Integrated controller supporting EtherCAT communication
  • Integrated safety brake to maintain position during emergency stops

These products are designed to be used them in high-precision applications, such as surgical robots.
