Absolute Encoders

At Hohner Automation, we offer a wide range of absolute encoders at your disposal. Absolute encoders allow you to know the position within a range, without the need for a reference point.

We have singleturn and multiturn absolute encoders with different interfaces: parallel, analog, SSI, BISS, as well as different field buses (EtherCat, EtherNet / IP, DeviceNet, CANOpen, Profibus and Profine. You will find many varieties of absolute encoder:

Diameters from Ø 25 mm to Ø 90 mm.
Operating temperature ranges from – 40°C to + 105°C.
Singleturn resolution up to 21 bits and multiturn up to 30 bits.

Shaft diameters from Ø 4 mm to Ø 42 mm.
Solid, blind hollow and hollow shafts.
Stainless steel, aluminum and plastic housings.

We are specialists in custom encoder design, contact us for any special modifications. We also have complementary accessories such as connectors, support angles, pre-wiring, measuring wheels, flanges and couplings.
